BlogTour 2011: The Best of the Rest

Our recent trip to London for BlogTour was such a wonderful time that Elise and I are both going through serious withdrawal. We miss our friends. We miss the sights. We miss having sponsors take care of our every whim. In reality, our memories are a bit of a blur. Kind of like this:

Yup. That's one of Elise's famous "out the cab window" shots.

So we've decided to relive the details of our experience through the (many) photographs we've taken. We've uploaded them to our BlogTour gallery so come on over and take a peek. Extra points if you come back and let us know your favorites!

(Just kidding. We don't do extra credit on this blog. But do tell us nonetheless! We love to hear from you!)

To our lovely BlogTour family, hope you are all re-entering normal life with ease and not missing our witticisms too much! Until next time!

Don't forget, you can find all our BlogTour coverage here.

Creative Types: Katharine Watson

This past spring, I attended the National Stationery Show in New York and where I fed my paper obsession taking in all the new and beautiful wares. At the show I saw innovative letterpress applications, fresh and modern color palettes and witty and nuanced graphics. Among all of this, one booth that got me super excited was from Katharine Watson. I was immediately struck by the strong imagery and bold colors of her products. Her graphics tapped into that Indian/Eastern print sensibility that I love so much (going all the way back to the Indian print tank tops of my yesteryears!). That she was incredibly sweet and eager to share her knowledge didn't hurt either! I'm so happy to be able to share her story today, including some of her exciting upcoming plans. Come along and meet Katharine!

Decorating Ideas for Fall

I've been in need of some motivation to start my decorating for fall. So I pulled together a few of my favorite images to drum up some ideas for the season. Come check out what I found in my post over on Momtastic

BlogTour 2011, Day 4: Brick Lane Markets and More

Day Four of BlogTour 2011 started with a rare find: free time! So after Elise found this spectacular map of London's markets, we headed back to the site of Tent London: Brick Lane. With Mollie Magill from Robin Baron's Simplifying Fabulous and Michelle Carangi of Holley & Gill, we walked through the stalls at Sunday UpMarket at the Old Truman Brewery and Backyard Market admiring (and even maybe buying) the food, clothing and accessories stalls.
