Design on a Dime 2012 (Part II)
Wednesday, May 2, 2012 We're back with more of our favorite spaces from this year's Design on a Dime. With rooms designed by over 50 great talents, it really was hard to choose. So we - just maybe - tried to cram in a few extra ones at the end! However, if you prefer a broader view, please feel free to check out our gallery to see see our full range of photos from this inpsirational event.

TILTON FENWICK
We heard it from the horse's mouth that supporting charities has always been a priority for Tilton Fenwick. On the heels of presenting a table at Dining by Design last month, Anne & Suysel presented a space that was at once sophisticated and whimsical. We loved the canopied daybed, the matching miniature upholstered armchair and the boldly patterned walls.

PATRICK JAMES HAMILTON DESIGNS
Patrick once described his style to us as transitional and his preferred look as "calm and tailored". We got all of the above (and more!) in this year's vignette. Patrick's styling expertise is evident throughout the space with many little touches - all the decorative accents and the bar offerings - that drew you into the room. As for favorite pieces, that Chinese Scholar's rock was truly something to behold and the pair of marigold armchairs was calling to be taken home with us!

JOHN DOUGLAS EASON INTERIOR DESIGN
You're sure to stand out with a bathroom setup in an event largely dominated by living room vignettes. We loved the clean lines and abundance of texture, not to mention that oversized rice paper lantern, in this grounded and calm installation.

AND A FEW MORE FOR THE ROAD...
There were simply too many good things on display so here are just a few extra for your viewing pleasure.

Thanks so much for sharing Mae Lee. I wasn't able to attend from the North Bay area, so I'm so happy to see both of your overviews to get a sense of the amount of talent, work and heartfelt giving that went into this inspirational event. Through your two posts, I felt as if I was there. Gosh, there is so much talent out there, isn't there?
Mae! Such a delight and honor to be included in your coverage... and Irene's right... SO MUCH WORK, and so much giving! Always delighted to be Here in This House!
