Traditional Home's Designer Hot Spots

If you follow us on social media (Facebook & Twitter) you saw us get pretty excited recently about our inclusion in a fantastic round-up in Traditional Home’s online magazine. Our good friend and design blogger, Tamara Matthews-Stephenson of Nest by Tamara, contacted us a while back and asked our where is our go-to spot for great design finds.

We both knew immediately our choice: a local antique shop that has a bit of everything and is our first stop when we are shopping for something unique. The Summit Antique Center is a local antique co-op that houses close to 60 different vendors. Established in 1990, the shop is managed by Peter Cummings (who couldn’t be nicer) and is known for its wide range of products at a great price.

If you are in the market for something, then just call up the SAC and ask. If they don’t have in the center, they’ll keep note of it and call you when they do. Another great perk is they are often having sales, open houses and are open every day of the week from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. In the area, stop by for the Holiday Open House on December 9.

Trust us when we say the Summit Antique Center is not to be missed. It’s got everything you can imagine and it is so much better to have a unique piece of home decor versus something you find in every mall in America.
