BlogTour 2011, Day 4: Brick Lane Markets and More
Friday, September 30, 2011 Day Four of BlogTour 2011 started with a rare find: free time! So after Elise found this spectacular map of London's markets, we headed back to the site of Tent London: Brick Lane. With Mollie Magill from Robin Baron's Simplifying Fabulous and Michelle Carangi of Holley & Gill, we walked through the stalls at Sunday UpMarket at the Old Truman Brewery and Backyard Market admiring (and even maybe buying) the food, clothing and accessories stalls.

After we had our fill of the markets, off we went to meet up with the rest of our blogger crew at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour (DCCH). We started things off with receptions in the showrooms of two of our sponsors: Samuel Heath and Victoria + Albert Baths. Afterwards, we listened to a discussion of market trends by the folks from DCCH (in the most beautiful press room I've ever seen) and a discussion with Holly Becker of decor8.
The evening was capped off with a dinner hosted by Samuel Heath and V+A Baths at the Atlas Pub. What a great chance to unwind from the busy day and to talk in more depth with our fellow US bloggers, our UK counterparts and, of course, our sponsors.

Only one more day of events to cover! Check back for that - and more - early next week.
And just a reminder about our wonderful sponsors, without whom we would not have been on this trip. The first of which are our lead sponsors, Modenus and MMPI, the organizers of the Architectural Digest Home Show (which I wrote about here) and mydeco.com. We were further cared for by our event sponsors: Achica Living, Blanco, DuVerre Hardware, Poggenpohl, Spirit of Sports, and wallunica; our exhibitor sponsors: Samuel Heath and Victoria + Albert; and our media partners: 100% Design London, London Design Festival, Decorex International, The Society of British Interior Design, Tent London, designjunction and Mix Publications.
