BlogTour 2011, Day 1: London Design Festival at the Victoria & Albert Museum
Sunday, September 25, 2011 We are in London. And we are having an AMAZING time. It goes without saying the BlogTour team from Modenus has been responsible for arranging an event that has been filled with all things design and tons of great company.
Below are some of our pics from the first two days of our time spent in London. There will be so much more but we had to share what amazing things we have seen in fear you would think we are all but lost in London!

We began our first day with an afternoon tea at Victoria & Albert Museum with welcome by William Knight, director of the London Design Festival.

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec created a gigantic “Textile Field” about 2500 feet! We all took turns lounging about on the soft fabric/furniture and there were many others enjoying quite the same thing (no shoes allowed).

One of the 3D printing projects throughout the Victoria & Albert museum commissioned by Murray Moss and created by Iris Van Herpin (Netherlands) & Daniel Dwidrig (Germany) nylon: no seams, no sewing or no handy work. It was fantastic!

A gigantic chandelier dangling in the midst of a classically decorated Victoria & Albert Café. The cafe was the first museum restaurant in the world!

The bloggers (heads down tweeting) about the fantastic first day of BlogTour! Hope you are following along on our Twitter stream (#blogtour2011) for all of the fun times and behind-the-scene conversations amongst all of the bloggers in attendance; you're sure to feel like an insider:)
We have hundreds of shots we can’t wait to share from the past two days (Day 2 & 3 of BlogTour) as well as the final two days of our trip. But we’re off to the London Sunday markets at Kings Lane with more London Design Week activities to round out our day into night. Peek back in soon for more to come!
